Thanet Wanderers are holding an open Community Sports Fun Day at their ground at Callis Court Road, St Peter’s Broadstairs on Saturday the 30th June between 11.00am and 4.30pm.

As proud sponsors of Thanet Wanderers RUFC, Educational Life are pleased to share good news and positive stories coming out of the club, especially those that benefit the local community.

The purpose of the event is to allow the club to embrace the community and for the community to engage with the club and it’s members. The event is open to all ages from under 6 to 100 and both males and females are welcome to take part.
All participants will need to register at the club from 11.00am onwards on the day and they will then be arranged into age groups and then allocated into one of three teams that will compete against each other in up to 8 events that will include among others:
Touch Rugby.
Kicking King.
Pass Master.
Prop Star (pushing old tyres).
Slip and Slide.
Spot prizes will be awarded throughout the day.
Parents are encouraged to come along and compete alongside their children.
Refreshments will be available to buy from the clubhouse and the event will finish with a prize giving session.
Dave, our Schools and Community Liaison will be dropping by to see how everything is going and Eddie may also make an appearance. We both hope to see lots of you there.
