As a result of The Beast from the East and the dangerous conditions left by Storm Emma, we’re sorry to say that our Spring edition did not reach our readers on time. As you can appreciate, this was unavoidable given the circumstances.
Taking this into account, along with feedback we have received from our readers during our ‘Community Consultations’ we have made the decision not to publish our Easter edition this year and to change our strategy completely!
This means that businesses who advertised in our Spring edition will not lose out and we can still ensure we are delivering the high standard of customer service our supporters have come to appreciate from us.
So…based on consumer feedback, what exactly is going to change?
- Publications will now be released bi-monthly
- This means they will no-longer run inline with school holidays…this approach wasn’t practical as the schools in the areas we cover break up at different times!
- It will make the publication release dates consistent and predictable for all parties.
- The deadline for the May/June edition will be Wednesday 18th April at 17:00.
Over the Easter period, we will still be sharing your good news stories, relevant articles and information. It will just be via the website, rather than in a printed magazine. That’s right, everything will be up on www.educational-life.org
We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause but we hope you can see why this decision has been made and why it will be more efficient in the long run. Your feedback is valued and we make the time to sit and review it – thank you for taking the time to tell us how you think Educational Life can go from strength to strength whilst supporting you to the best of our ability.
While we have you… if you have any other constructive suggestions that you’d like to share with us, please pop an email across to us firstname.lastname@example.org and if you like what we do, please take a minute to write us a testimonial or review on Google or via Facebook. They really help evidence the impact we have in the community – we can use them to support our funding applications.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
