Local Dancers win at Nationwide Finals in Blackpool
Young dancers from Impact Dance Academy traveled up to Blackpool to take part in the IDTA Nationwide Freestyle Rock and Roll Championships on the 10th and 11th November 2018.
The dancers, from the Canterbury, Sturry and Ashford areas have worked incredibly hard to get to this stage in the competition. They spun, kicked and leaped their way into the final and left with seven Nationwide winners!
Impact Dance Academy attended the Nationwide Freestyle and Rock and Roll Finals in Blackpool on November the 10th and 11th November. Earlier in the year in May, they had to qualify for the event to represent the South East, overall they had a number of finalists actually compete in the competition.
The level of competition throughout the day was extremely high with every single competitor trying their best to secure a win. With no signs of nerves, panic or frustration over routines, the dancers soared through the finals to secure an unbelievable amount of successes.
Hard work pays off as they effortlessly flew though the air to land SEVEN winners!

Lillee-Jai Collins 6-8 Solo
Marie Devani 6-10 Solo
Rosy Scamp 10-12 Solo
Zara Newman 18-25 Solo
Marie Devani 9 and under Slow
Isara Harwood and Kelan Figaro 10-12 Pairs
Rosy Scamp and Ella Scamp 10-12 Pairs
