I have decided to write my blog about cooking, baking and everything food related – can you tell I’m a foodie? I wanted to start off with one of my favourite baking recipes, I have made these for about 5 years now and they never fail to please everyone who eats them.
They are THE most indulgent cookies ever and they’re super easy!
To make 10 – 12 MASSIVE cookies you will need
300g Caster sugar
1 Large egg
275g Self-raising flour
75g Cocoa powder
A dash of milk
A large bar of milk chocolate (always cadbury’s for me)
A Large bar of white chocolate
Optional choice of anything yum – Caramel, Dark Choc, Oreos, Daim etc
Preheat your oven to 200°C/ 392°F (very specific)
First, cream together your butter and sugar
Fail to one-handedly crack in your egg so do it the normal way
Mix in all your remaining dry ingredients
Here, I add a dash of milk if it’s looking dry, and you want the mixture to be sticky!
Break up all your chocolate (the more the better) and mix in. I tend to half the average piece as you’ll get more per bite
Line 2 baking trays with baking paper or tin foil
*The cookies will spread A LOT so put a maximum of 5/6 on each*
Place handfuls of your cookie dough onto the baking trays
Put them in the oven for 10-12 minutes but take them out after a maximum of 12 minutes
They will not looked cooked
This is fine, don’t leave them in any longer as they will be overcooked and hard!
Leave to cool for about 20 minutes
Enjoy a warm, melt in the mouth cookie!
