A whole host of kings, shepherds, and creatures followed the nativity star to Chilton junior school main hall for a special festive show. All of the infant children came together to say thank you to Buddy the Golden Retriever for another lovely year. He is Reception Class’ pet at St. Ethelbert’s Catholic Primary School, Ramsgate. Christmas dinner has been served 1000 times over by kitchen staff at Newington Community Primary School in Ramsgate. The catering team led by cook Helen Moore have prepared and cooked traditional healthy festive dinner and puddings plus other meal options to more than a thousand eager – and hungry – pupils in just two days. The team were dressed in their colourful festive tops as they served up the meals which pupils voted as “really tasty” and “smashing”. A special version of the classic story of Cinderella was among the festive shows performed by pupils at Upton Junior School in Broadstairs. The Year 5 production of the rags to riches tale featured one of the biggest casts for any show staged at the school. Santa made an early visit to Newington Community Primary School in Ramsgate this year. He stopped by in his sleigh to collect a huge collection of toys, gifts and presents that had been donated by the school community and families.
